Meet The Groomer

My name is Celeste Smith. I graduated from the Florida Instutite of Animal Arts professional pet grooming program in April 2007. My background for the past 13 years was in banking. I worked for JP Morgan Chase at their collection call center in Lake Mary as an Assistant Vice President. I was with JP Morgan Chase/Bank One for 8 1/2 years.

Why did I chose to change my career to pet grooming? Well that is easy!! First of all, I love animals. I have always envisioned myself working with animals in one way shape or form. Second of all, I was tired of the corporate life. I wanted to do something that was fullfilling where I could walk away everyday with a good feeling. I chose mobile grooming over opening my own shop because of the stress level of the pet. In a shop dogs and cats are left in crates waiting to be groomed for up to several hours at a time. It causes a high stress level for the animal to be caged up with strange animals beside them. I couldn't stand to see that fear in their eyes. Also, being a parent of dogs and cats myself, it would be much less stress on me to know my animal is being groomed in my driveway and will be able to come right in the house when finished! It is convenient too for the parent to not have to make 2 trips to the grooming shop to drop off and pick up their pet.

What you can expect from me is to treat your pet as if they were my own. My main concern is for your pets safety, comfort and well being. I am a professional. I provide a safe, clean enviornment for your pet to be groomed in. I look forward to having the opportunity to build a relationship with your pet to make the grooming process easy and fun!
